• Reserve your holiday by e-mailing us or calling us on +44 (0) 1540 651265 (between 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday – ansaphone evenings/weekends- we will call you back asap). If you need an invoice for your deposit please tell us when you make your reservation.
• Your reservation is confirmed by payment of a 20% deposit/booking fee. We can accept payment by credit/debit card over the phone or via a cheque (please note your booking is not confirmed until your cheque has cleared). We can also accept BACS transfers – please contact us for details.
• If you wish to pay by cheque we will hold your reservation for 10 to allow you time to make your non-refundable deposit/booking fee payment – If we do not receive payment your reservation will be cancelled. Rest assured we will try to contact you by phone and/or e-mail before we make the cancellation.
• If your stay is within a month of you making your reservation we will need to take full payment at the time of reservation.
• We will e-mail/send you a letter to confirm your booking.
• Nearer your arrival time we will send you an invoice for the balance payment which needs to be made/cleared one month before arrival.

Cancellations must be made in writing, via letter or e-mail.

If you cancel your booking for whatever reason your deposit /booking fee is non-refundable. If you cancel within 1 month of arrival you will be liable to pay your full balance payment.

It may be possible to transfer cancelled bookings to another date – this will be subject to possible price difference payments and a £50 administrative fee.

Are as stated on your booking confirmation and depend on which type of break you have booked. We will contact you to ask for an approximate arrival time so that we can make arrangements to meet you. If you are going to arrive later than anticipated please call us and let us know.

Last minute late departures are not possible as we will have arranged for our cleaning contractors to arrive at your lodge immediately after your booked departure time.

• You must not exceed the maximum sleeping occupancy for your lodge without discussing it with us first – if you do so we will make a charge of £25pppn for each extra person.
• We reserve the right to make charges to cover the replacement/repair/excess cleaning cost of any breakages/damages etc to Lagganlia buildings or property attributable to your group members during your stay.
• Please note that all there is a strict no smoking policy in all Lagganlia buildings.
• Insurance: Lagganlia is covered by public liability insurance. We recommend that guests consider taking out appropriate insurance to safeguard against risks such as theft, accident, the cost of cancelling your booking or accident while undertaking activities. Edinburgh Children & Families groups can take advantage of insurance arranged through the City Council’s Insurance Section.
• We do not under any circumstances accept bookings from stag or hen parties.
