We offer exciting adventure activity days from £28pp per day.

Choose from a list of activities including canoeing, climbing, mountain biking, skiing/boarding on our dry slope, kayaking, archery and gorge walking. All equipment and transport to/from your activities is included in the price click here for more for details.

Boots n Paddles are a mobile outdoor adventure activity company offering a range of exciting activities. With the reassurance that you'll be in good hands with experienced instructors, they'll make sure you remember your Boots N Paddles' experience for all the right reasons.  Also available is a comprehensive canoe hire and flexible shuttle service.

Other activities available nearby include shooting, pony trekking, quad biking and indoor climbing.

Miles of trails for all abilities from your doorstep (we can provide you with local route maps) – further afield visit Laggan Wolftrax Mountain Biking Centre with its blue to black trails. Bike hire available in Aviemore.

You can book a water sports day with us or on nearby lochs you can try your hand at sailing, windsurfing, canoeing etc and raft and canoe journeys are available on the River Spey.

On-site we have forest to explore, large playing fields with goal post/basket ball hoop, a dipping pond, low climbing/traverse wall and low ropes play area.

Family attractions to visit: Landmark Forest Theme Park, The polar bear and tigers at the Highland Wildlife Park or the living history Highland Folk Museum, have a ride on the Strathspey Steam Railway, meet the dogs at the Sleddog Centre or the local reindeer herd at the Reindeer Centre (including Dougal – Lagganlia’s sponsored reindeer!).  
Nearby Aviemore has swimming pools, the Fun House (a large indoor play area) and an arts & crafts workshop.  
Wildlife Watching:    
Spectacular opportunities for bird watching – specialities of the area include Osprey (which nest nearby), Capercaillie, Buzzard, Crested Tit, Treecreeper, Siskin, Hen Harrier, Sparrowhawk, Black Grouse and Golden Eagle.

There are 2 local RSPB reserves and lots of bird hides nearby. Other local hides provide opportunities for seeing badgers, deer and pine martens and in the summer there are wildlife cruises on Loch Insh.

Winter Sports:    
Cairngorm Mountain - 30km+ of ski runs, snow board fun park & sledging area. Cross Country, telemark, ski touring & mountaineering available from specialist operators. A ski school operates on site and Disability Snowsports UK offer lessons.

The Lecht resort offers both winter and summer season facilities including a chairlift rising to 2,500 ft, deval karts, tubing, skiing, snowboarding, quad bikes & fun karts. Straddling the A939 on the famous Cockbridge to Tomintoul road, Lecht 2090 is easily reached from Aviemore,

We offer free permits to fish our section of the River Feshie during your stay – plentiful other local opportunities for river/loch fishing.
